1. Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)-MIS
Description: - To accelerate the efforts to achieve universal sanitation
coverage and to put focus on sanitation, the Prime Minister of India launched
the Swachh Bharat Mission- Gramin (SBM-G) on 2nd October, 2014. The Objective
of SBM (G) is to make rural India Open Defecation Free (ODF) by 2019 by
construction of individual household toilets, cluster & community toilets.
It also aims to keep the villages clean through solid and liquid waste management.
This
is a web based system for capturing the sanitation coverage details of rural
India. Household level data with respect to sanitation facilities of all Gram
Panchayats in the country is made available on the MIS by States on the basis
of the Baseline Survey 2012-13. The main focus of MIS for the
mission is to track the toilet construction and usage through creation of ODF
Communities. The MIS is also being upgraded to enable reporting of creation of
ODF communities and their sustenance as well. The system enables the Centre,
State, District, Block and Gram Panchayat to monitor the progress of
construction of toilets for Individual household and community sanitary
complexes.
SBM (G) MIS
is capturing the household data of over 18.13 crore households covered during
the baseline survey. This mobile number is used to generate SMS once the
construction of toilet is reported on online system. Beneficiary can revert
back / reply through SMS on whether toilet has been constructed in his/her
house
2. Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)- Dashboard
Description: - SBM (G) dashboard is
also developed to monitor the programme implementation at National, State and
District level progress/coverage in graphical view with various KPIs for
tracking IHHL and ODF status. This also shows the progress of the program on
the interactive maps since its launch. More than 2.35 crore households have
received toilet coverage since the launch of program and 85,332 villages have
become ODF as on 26th Sep. 2016.
SBM(G) Dashboard- used to monitor
the programme implementation at national, state and district level. Shows
progress/coverage in graphical view with KPIs
3. mSBM APP
Description: - mSBM APP –Mobile App
used for capturing the photographs of Individual Household Toilet along with
geo-codes and usage details. Using this App, user can upload the photographs of
beneficiaries receiving toilet facilities in their homes under this Mission,
using a smartphone. While capturing the photograph, latitude and longitude of
the location as well as date – time stamp is recorded automatically and
gets uploaded on the central
server of the Mission which is housed in the National Data Centre.
4. Web Based Online Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan
(NBA) Monitoring System formerly known as Total Sanitation Campaign (TSC)
Description: - The main goal of Nirmal
Bharat Abhiyan (NBA) Programme is to
eradicate the practice of open defecation by 2022. TSC Programme also emphasis
on school sanitation and hygiene education for bringing about attitudinal and
behavioral changes for relevant sanitation and hygiene practices from young
age. So far, 607 districts of the
country have been covered under NBA with
total layout of over Rs. 22,672 Crore.
This
is a web based system for capturing the sanitation coverage details of rural
India. The Panchayat wise entries of individual household toilets (APL+BPL),
sanitary complexes, school & Anganwadis toilets and details of rural
sanitary marts and production centres are being captured along with the
financial progress reports. The number of villages where solid liquid waste
management has been taken up is also available. This is a near to real time
database of sanitation coverage in the country.
5. Web
Based Nirmal Gram Puraskar Monitoring System
Description: - To give fillip to this endeavor, GOI has
launched Nirmal Gram Puraskar to recognize the efforts in terms of cash awards
for fully covered PRIs and those individuals and institutions who have
contributed significantly in ensuring full sanitation coverage in their area of
operation. More than 28000 GPs have been awarded from NGP awards.
Every year the Nirmal Gram Puraskar awards are
given to those gram panchayats which have achieved 100% sanitation coverage and
can be taken as ideal ‘Nirmal Gram’ where open defecation has completely been
eradicated. This prestigious award is given away by His/Her Excellency, the
President of India to these panchayats. This has gone a long way in promoting
sanitation and hygiene practices among the rural people by bringing about
changes in the cultural practices. The online system for NGP is a web based
system for capturing the complete workflow right from the acceptance of
applications, the various stages of processing of these applications and the
awarding of the panchayats. The status matrix of the applications also shows
the stage at which a particular application is rejected and the reasons of
rejection. This system enables complete transparency and very efficient method
of awarding the panchayats.
